Some days you can’t shut that brain off…Fears about your age. “If it doesn’t happen this year, then what?” The diagnosis. “I better ask Dr. google what my chances are now.” The mystery. “If everything is fine – why hasn’t it happened yet?” And this is just the beginning. These thoughts lead to new, sometimes even scarier thoughts. Next thing ya know, you’ve entered a rabbit hole of uncertainty, frustration and WTF world. Your brain hurts, your body is numb, and you’re right back to where you started. So. Much. THINKING. I was in this spot a couple of weeks ago. Engulfed and addicted to thinking. And as much as a tried to think “more right” and change my thoughts – I couldn’t. This is what I like to call a monkey mind lock-down. You don’t even know you’re in it. You ARE it.
